Following up on its Living Shangri-La Vancouver hotel condominium project, Shangri- La Hotels and Resorts with Westbank and Peterson Group is introducing the new Living Shangri La Toronto located at 180 University Ave, designed by James K.M. Cheng Architects and Young Wright Architects.The hotel will occupy the first 17 floors of a $430-million, 65-storey tower. Luxury condominiums will be located on the upper levels. The hotel will feature a three-storey lobby with a cafe, a mezzanine-level restaurant overlooking University Avenue, and Chi, The Spa, the hotel and resort chain's spa brand.

Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts currently manages 50 hotels around the world under Shangri-La and Traders brandsThe building has a clean-lined contemporary design with Asian influences, featuring spa, lounge, retail and restaurant spaces, along with hotel guest rooms and both pieda-terre and "estate style" residential suites. 

Shangri-la Condos in Toronto is 65 storeys,  floors 18 to 48 feature 1 and 2 bedroom residences with larger private estate; suites on the 49th to 64th storeys, and two expansive penthouse units on the top floor. Size From approximately 800 to more than 6,000 square feet. Features Suites include Italian-style kitchens, high-end Sub- Zero and Miele appliances and marble and stone finishes. 


Residents will be able to take advantage of the in-house spa, a fitness centre and such a la carte services as housekeeping and room service. There will be a concierge and doorman, and residents in the estate and penthouse suites will also have valet parking included.
